I just received the NEWS RELEASE from the City of Bellingham, officially announcing the winners of the ESSENCE OF BELLINGHAM PHOTO CONTEST 2023. And I’m thrilled to share that the photo I took of two northern flickers near my home won BEST IN SHOW — 2nd PLACE. My other photograph of a tiny crab on a purple sea star won an HONORABLE MENTION.
